The INPLANTOMICS teams, as a one of the partners, participated in the kick-off Meeting of the FORECAST project coordinated by our partner University of Pavia. This new PRIMA project entitled FORECAST brings together 13 Euro‑Mediterranean partners from Italy, Algeria, France and Tunisia, to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to revitalize Mediterranean agroforestry systems through climate‑ready tree and herbaceous germplasm, with a particular focus on resilient “orphan” legumes. Our participation reinforces our contribution to PRIMA’s goals on climate resilience, biodiversity enhancement and sustainable agriculture across the Mediterranean region.
